I’m attempting to re-create an arena from Smash TV, an arcade game from the 90’s which I enjoyed playing in my youth.
Modeling has been done in Maya. Texturing in Substance Painter and Substance Designer. Material setup, and Level components have been assembled in Unreal 5.
Fully articulated Blueprint light fixture rig for my personal project using Unreal Editor.
Outer cone angle drives blinder flaps as well as inner cone angle as a percentage of the outer cone angle.
Light intensity drives attenuation radius using inverse square function.
I used several screen shots from a YouTube playthrough as reference.
Here’s a breakdown of the modular kits I modeled using Maya.
I’ve added extra polys to accommodate for the vertex painting I eventually plan on doing to break up the current texture repetition.
